Everyone here in the V family wishes all of our readers a Merry Christmas, Happy Hannukah, Merry Kwanzaa, and Happy Yule (and for the Seinfeld fans, Festivus "for the rest of us" :-).
As you might have guessed, a good portion of our gifts centered on the Wii and PS3. Here's what went around:
I got: the black Wii remote with Motion Plus, black Nunchuk, and a gift card for GameStop.
Ann got: strategy guides for Metroid Prime Trilogy and Animal Crossing: City Folk, and a Metroid Prime 3 t-shirt.
Eric got: Super Mario Bros. Wii and LEGO Indiana Jones, plus UNO on the PS3 from the Playstation Network.
Maggie got: Ni Hao, Kai Lan Super Game Day. In spite of my lukewarm review elsewhere, she's enjoying it a bunch.
Eric and Maggie jointly got: Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Games, Mario and Sonic at the Winter Olympic Games.
My sister Kerri's family joined the Wii experience this year too. In addition to getting Wii Sports Resort, I also bought them de Blob and Super Monkey Ball: Banana Blitz. Here's hoping they get as much joy out of their Wii as we have.
Of course, that's not all the gifts we got, just the gaming gifts. There were more things that we're all enjoying (except I don't think I will learn to appreciate the Moon Sand) and we're all enjoying being together for the holidays. And we hope you are too.
