Games are expensive.  Top brand Wii games typically sell for $49.95 at release.  Some ports and re-releases are priced at $39.95, or $29.95, but if you're on a tight budget, that's still a lot.  Many good games look great after they've been out for awhile because prices do get discounted eventually.  Of course, if you find any game on our List of Must-Buy Games anywhere at all, new or used, for under $20, you should jump on it.  E-Bay and Amazon are great places to find deals.

The purpose of this page is to let you know the latest games to get discounted. The window below shows our list of sub-$20 games with a MetaCritic score of 70 or greater. This list may or may not include on-sale items.

You're likely to see lots of games in stores like Wal-Mart and Target discounted low too. There's usually a reason for that: They're pretty awful. Caveat emptor. For a complete list of games to avoid at all costs, refer to my Shovelware Hall of Shame resource page.

There. That should keep you entertained on the cheap for awhile. It just goes to show that you can save a bit of your gaming cash without having to put up with bad games.
